Life and all that goes with it!

The more I experience in my life the more I realize what a blessing life is. Life teaches us a great many things and if we care enough about what we experience, the more we learn that can be passed on to others. The main thing I have learned is that no matter how much you go through and learn, all you can do is advise others from your experiences, but don't be discouraged and feel that your life experiences have been in vain if they don't listen. Life experiences are just that...life and each person may have to experience life on their own terms rather than heeding your advice. Those that listen will save themselves so much time and worry and those that choose to listen, but go their own way, will learn for themselves through their life experiences. Just remember that what you learned can make your life easier in the future and hopefully will allow someone you care about to avoid the same life lessons that you had to learn. If not...just appreciate the life you have been given and what you have learned and if nothing else...write a book.:)

Remembering September 11th 2001

Please view this link!     Please join me and billions of people from around the globe in remembering the tragedy of  9/11. My continued prayers go out to the victims, their family, loved ones and friends, as well as the world, for peace, so that no one will ever again have to remember all those who die during any act of violence no matter where, no matter when, no matter why.
     Violence is what is destroying a world that God created for us to live in in peace and harmony, not to destroy with all the wickedness known to man. Please continue to pray for the end of violence that continues going on around the world. Be it across the ocean, across the country, or down the street and around the corner, pray that it will end and we can join together as one family, as children of  God (or whatever name you choose to call your creator). We are all family! We are all related! No matter where we live, what color our skin is, what language we speak, it doesn't matter to Him.

Time for Renewal

     It's funny how every time you turn around, you find more and more learning experiences in life. Some are really easy to learn from and appreciate while others you really have to struggle to get through.
      I started this blog so long ago but life has a way of getting in the way and it seems like I never had time. I've done a lot of thinking about this and I realized that sometimes we have to do some things just for us and let everything else sit and idle for awhile.
     I recently found a friend of mine who made such an impact on my life because she was and is the kind of person we all should strive to be like. She is beautiful in body, mind & soul. She gives love unconditionally to those who need it the most. She has the greatest capacity of caring and sharing whatever she has to give and then some.  Yet while this young woman does so much for others she is suffering from tremendous pain physically and emotionally. She struggles with her physical issues and her emotional issues and still attempts to maintain her life as normal as she possibly can. She has been blessed with a loving husband and family and friends that feel she's a very special woman.
Just finding her again after all this time has reminded me that some things that don't seem very important are really very important after all, if only to me. 
     This blog, for example, was intended so I could tell my family and friends what they mean to me and how much my life has been blessed. We are all so busy in our lives anymore and time passes by so quickly that I have made a pledge, if only to myself, to use my blog to say what I feel and hopefully impart a little wisdom of my own to my children and grandchildren and anyone else who cares what I think. If you don't care what I think and feel about things, that's okay too. This is for me and the people I love and I am only hoping someone might recognize this is a wonderful way to leave something for those they love to learn from and know how much you care about them.

A Place To Say What's On My Heart

What can I say...my life has been a series of learning experiences, some good, some bad, some totally fantastic and some heartbreaking. I know...join the club! We all go through things that build us up and tear us down but if we learn from those experiences we can not only help ourselves but others as well. That is all part of humanity and caring for your fellow man. How else will we ever be able to live in peace and harmony if we, who do care about each other, don't stand up and help each other, help our leaders, and get our country back on course.
